CrewSELECT are looking for multiple Ceiling Fixers/Carpenters to join a business leading the industry in commercial projects.

About the role:

• Carry out wall and ceiling works to a high professional standard of workmanship
• Ability to fix and flush essential 
• Able to work on suspended ceilings
• Must be able to read and understand builders' plans with set out and construct skills with stud walls and suspended ceilings
• Assess work requirements and provide accurate cost estimations and quotations for a range of issues.
• Installs, wall and ceiling framework and interior and exterior linings.
• Fits and installs window frames, doors, door frames, interior and exterior trim
• Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
• Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools.

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Ability to carry out wall and ceiling works to a high professional standard of workmanship
• Ability to fix and flush essential 
• Able to work on suspended ceilings
• Must be able to read and understand builders' plans with set out and construct skills with stud walls and suspended ceilings
• Assess work requirements and provide accurate cost estimations and quotations for a range of issues.
• Installs, wall and ceiling framework and interior and exterior linings.
• Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.

Tickets and licenses:

• Trade certificate (Cert III in Wall and Ceiling Lining OR Carpentry Trade) - highly regarded.
• White card.
• Drivers license.
• Working with heights - within 2 years.
• EWP license - highly regarded.
