We are in search of an experienced stores-person to become part of our client's electrical workshop team and play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of their stores section. If you possess motivation, reliability, and a strong attention to detail, we are eager to receive your application!

• Conveniently located in Wakerley
• Work schedule: 4 days on, enjoying a 3-day weekend
• Duration: Minimum 3 months, with potential for a permanent role based on fit
• Competitive pay: $35 per hour plus applicable penalties
• Additional opportunities for overtime hours available

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify received goods with corresponding invoices.
• Organise and store items in designated areas
• Oversee inventory, conducting stock counts and placing orders as needed.
• Prepare products for dispatch through tasks such as shrink-wrapping and palletising.
• Coordinate product delivery by arranging transportation.
• Utilise forklift for various operational tasks.
• Work collaboratively with the workshop team.
• Physically handle incoming goods.
• Maintain accurate records using MS Word, Excel, and stock management software.

 

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with electrical components (preferred, not mandatory)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency in inventory management and data entry.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Familiarity with workshop safety protocols.
• Valid forklift license.
• Availability to work from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Wednesday.
